Sacramento City Grabs the Meathead Movers Title

The Sacramento City College Panthers fought and clawed their way through a tough field to win the team title in San Luis Obispo at the Meathead Movers Wrestling Invitational. Cuesta College hosted the event which included strong squads from Sac City, Mt. SAC, Palomar and the host Cougars.

The Panthers were led by strong performances from Champions Kaleio Romero at 157 and Dylan Forzani at 165. Romero, in his first tournament at 157, pinned his way through the field and was named the Outstanding Lower Weight Wrestler.

Mt. San Antonio edged Palomar by 1.5 points 118.5 to 117.0, thanks in part to Gio Castillo who received the Award of Excellence.  Palomar was led by a trio of champions, Alexander, Gallo at 174, Alex Graves at 184 and Seville Hayes at 285. Graves was named the Outstanding Upper Weight Wrestler.
