  1. gvt says:

Andrew Gomez – santa ana should be 1 at 141, highest returning placer/all american and undefeated thus far.
Alberto Garcia – Palomar should be 2 or 3 at 133 considering he was a state finalist before redshirting last year. Only loss is to Gomez of Santa Ana in overtime at 141 I believe.
    just some opinion.

  2. Wynette says:

Can you correct the spelling of Wrestler Jacob Alcobendas 165 weight class? ( 7th). Thank you!

  3. Shrek says:

Can you please update the list.

  4. gvt says:

125 – george torres – mt sac should be #2 after beating everyone at south duals
133 – anthony vargas – cerritos should be #1 after beating galvan again at south duals
141 – casper sherow – mt sac should be down at 141 and at #1 after beating richard pocock at south duals
149 – joseph dominguez – mt. sac should be at #1 after beating dylan martinez this weekend, martinez was his only loss on the year before that
197 – david van weems – cerritos (first tournament of the year) should be in the top 2 if not #1 after literally teching or pinning everyone at south duals
197 – honorable mention should be spelled Rafael Madrigal

  5. Suttercoach says:

I guess if you get injured you just completely drop off the map as far as rankings? I realize the athlete can’t move on it’s just frustrating that the rankings don’t get updated until the week after the injury and wrestlers you have beaten get moved in front. Just frustrated and venting wanting acknowledgement for all the hard work put in during the season.

    • We share your frustration. It is difficult to do rankings without information from teams regarding results. Until we have a system in place that requires teams to submit all match results to a central location, rankings will suffer during the regular season.
The current ranking only views those athletes in postseason.
