Separated by 400 miles, these 2 California cities are known more for their neighbors. Palomar College nestled in the hills between LA and San Diego and Modesto JC, a valley city in the shadows of Sacramento to the North and Fresno to the south. Today they have much in common as each will play host to a regional college wrestling tournament.

Modesto Junior College will host the North Regional Championships. Fresno City College enters the clear favorite as returning State Champions and 2023 North Duals Champions. Sacramento City, runner’s up at the North Duals looks to push the Fresno City Rams and prepare the troops for a deep run at State. Host Modesto, Santa Rosa, and the College of the Redwoods will provide stiff competition at certain weights, keeping the front runners on their toes.

Palomar College, hosting the South Regionals, will see the #1 ranked and undefeated Mt. San Antonio College setting their line up for state while holding off a talented and determined Cerritos College. Bakersfield College and Victor Valley and Rio Hondo lead the battle for 3rd.
